She was young, beautiful and chirpy… and rather everything that it takes to make a gorgeous dream! I asked her; why you don’t participate in a beauty pageant contest? You could definitely win. She smiled and said, “They are not people like me, they are confident people, and I am a nervous human being.” The owner of a beautiful personality is a least confident human being. Her fear is winning, and it is affecting the decision making.
A mind that is haunted with the beliefs of failure and is governed by the parameters of impulse is always at a loss. The loss of self-confidence and control is the biggest challenge that a person faces through fear and impulse. How insignificant are those fear-based decisions that affect the power of right and wrongdoing in a person’s mind. They cease us from following the heart, they make us furious, and they raise the unwanted call of doubt in mind. Fear dedicates human actions, or rather, becomes the most potent reason for ‘the lack of action’.
Most of the time it happens that the mind is worried about the end result. For instance, I want to visit my friend’s place but I don’t know how she will react. The mind starts looking for excuses and the clarity in thoughts is often missing. Fear, when coupled with a passive approach, has that sort of influence in the mind. It is always better to make up your mind in a positive manner– have a look at some of the easy hacks!
Don’t land your stake in an easy zone:
It is easy because those who are skeptical about taking risk accept fear as a ‘safe zone.’ However, the appearance of safety gives defeat in reality. Stop holding yourself. Taking no risk is the biggest risk taken in the life. Step out of your comfort zone, sweat a bit and make yourself vulnerable. Don’t fear the failure.
The results are anonymous:
You can either win or lose- the results are anonymous and thus, perceiving it one way is not a justified decision. Stop caring about the results! Don’t have a result-oriented mindset and believe in the merits of participation.
You have to start from somewhere:
No matter at what point you are right now, somewhere down the line, you have to start! Stop wishing and start acting… start performing and pick up your dreams right now. Life is inherently uncertain, and it is going to remain the way it is- it becomes your duty to start from a valid point of time.
Stop calculating depth in uncertainty:
You can never calculate the chances of your failure– so stop making judgments with pre-conceived notions. Stay close to your instinct but never have a blind fate in your perceptions. Uncertainty is a part of life, but it is not life itself.
Don’t let the ‘action’ suffer:
An indecisive mind that lacks the power to act is the most unfortunate one. You have to have that courage in your mind to take valid decisions and enact them. Enjoy the bliss of success with your ability to take actions. Success or failure is just the first step in learning!
