It’s exactly been a week since Apple hosted its big event and launched its new range of devices which included new iPhones, a new iPad Pro, a new Apple TV and the announcement of an all new iOS 9. Apple’s this new version of operating system will take less amount of space than its previous editions which will eventually make it more accessible for those who still have yesteryear iPhones and iPads. The new iOS is scheduled to launch on Wednesday and will take up only 1.4GB which is a lot less than 4.6GB of iOS 8.
The iOS 9 will bring a horde of new features for those who have iPhones 4S and up. Some of these features include:
Notes – This new app which enables users to jot down quick reminders will now also let its users add sketches, maps and images as notes.
Low Power Mode – This feature will help users to save battery that will eventually help them to use their iPhone for an hour or more without plugging it in.
Proactive Search – With proactive search, you can now get any info that you want based on your location and preferences with the help of Siri.
Better Security – To rev-up the already super secure iOS, Apple is making the passcode requirement from 4 digits to 6 which will eventually make your phone more secure and tougher to crack.
Apple has always released its new software update in the morning. While the downloading speed will expectedly be slower in the morning, however, it is bound to increase later that day.
