It’s also undoubtedly one of the hottest tech companies of the world.


Xiaomi might not be that big of a brand in the U.S. but it is probably the hottest brand in Asia. The company is valued at $46 billion and is also the world’s second-most valuable startup after Uber. The company has built its reputation by selling inexpensive yet high-quality smartphones in Asia. The company’s founder recently took out time to remind the people that their company offers a wide range of products like televisions, smartphones and even air purifiers at ultra-competitive prices.

Xiaomi’s push for broadening itself has puts the company inline with big online retailers like Amazon or China’s Alibaba that have benefited from the consumers’ by increasing comfort of making online purchases. Xiaomi, therefore, is banking on a retail strategy which could help the company to expand faster into various different parts of the world. Xiaomi envisions handheld device as a remote control for everything that’s bound to come and unlike Amazon or Alibaba, Xiaomi is more focused on gadgets. Therefore, we can surely this Chinese company to make it as big as Microsoft or Google in the coming years.
