Huawei Launches Honor 7 at a Price of Rs. 22,999: First Look, Specifications, Review, Features!

It seems like yesterday only when Huawei came up with the idea of initiating its ‘online-only’ brand Honor that became an instant hit in India. Today, Honor has completed its one year in the Indian Market, and to celebrate the occasion, the brand came up with the idea of launching the all new Honor 7 that starts from the range of Rs 22,999.

Huawei celebrated the successful one-year completion of Honor in India with a blast! Releasing the ‘magnificent’ Honor 7 today during an event in New Delhi, the tech brand confirmed that the smartphone will be available at Flipkart from October 15 onwards. On other hand, Huawei also made it clear that its flagship of P8 series Smartphones and the Talkband B2 will not be releasing in India. The news related to the release of Honor 7 came as an exciting announcement for the fans that were waiting for the launch before the beginning of the festive season.

So what is Honor 7 all about?

Honor 7 and Specifications: Processor: 64-bit Octa-Core 2.2GHz HiSilicon Kirin 935 CPU.

RAM: 3 GB RAM that will be available with three internal storage options 16 GB, 32 GB and 64 GB. As far as India is concerned, only the 16 GB version will be available in the online market.

MicroSD Card Slot: Supports one microSD card Slot that goes up to 128 GB cards.

Camera: 20 Megapixel rear-camera and 8 Megapixel front-end camera. The rear camera comes with an all new Phase Detection Autofocus and dual-LED flash. You can also get a Sapphire glass protection feature for the lens. The front camera comes with a wide 26mm camera angle. Get on with the Selfie love!

Operating System: Android 5.0.2 operating system with the in-house Huawei UI interface of EMUI 3.1. The entire setup tweaks up the smartphone with features like knuckle screenshot, emotion UI, and voice command.

SIM: Supports single SIM with 4G connectivity.

Battery: 3,100 mAh with an effective support of fast and reverse charging.

What’s New with Honor 7? Honor Smart Key– Also known as the ‘Panic button’, the Honor smart key caters to the local emergency needs. The hardware has integrated an SOS feature that sends urgent messages to preferable contacts and beeps loud siren to alert nearby people. It also provides correct location details with the help of GPS settings.

IR Remote: Control more than 26,000 products like AC, TV (that belongs to 700 different brands) with the help of IR remote integrated with Honor 7.

Quick Charging: Honor 7 claims that a 5 minutes of charging will live up to an hour of battery.

 Dimensions: 143.2 x 71.9 x 8.5 mm (5.64 x 2.83 x 0.33 in)
Display: 5.2-inch 1080p Full HD IPS LCD Display.
