Attending a public meeting at the Sher-e-Kashmir Cricket stadium on Saturday, PM Modi made some heartfelt announcements for the development of J&K. His vision for J&K was quite insightful and inspiring!
During his fourth visit to J&K, PM Narendra Modi addressed a public meeting in Srinagar, while inaugurating the 450 MW Baglihar Hydro project (state II). Announcing the 80,000 crore project for J&K, PM Modi extended his ultimate vision for the beautiful ‘paradise of earth’. He also attended another gathering while laying the foundational stone of four-laning project in the National Highway 44 section of Udhampur-Ramban and Ramban-Banihal.
PM Modi’s sharing the vision for Jammu & Kashmir:
Expressing his heartfelt views, PM Modi said that the country wishes to see J&K as a global educational hub. Pushing IITs and IIMs in line, the state should also ensure global learning standards. “As a state that has provided gems like Parvez Rasool, J&K certainly deserves to have a very own international cricket stadium in the state” suggested PM Modi.
As reported by the Indian Express, Modi exclaimed that “Kashmiriyat ke bina pura Hindustan adhoora hai, sirf Kashmir nahi” (without the essence and culture of Kashmir, the entire India is incomplete and not just the state). The desire to bring the old ‘golden days of Kashmir’ back was also a vision shared by PM Modi.
Expressing his take over the Twitter, Modi said that each and every part of India deserves development and progress. Wherever a particular land or place is affected, the entire country suffers the pain. Stressing on the mantra of ‘Sabka sath, Sabka vikas’, Modi urged on the call for overall development.
